Realtor vs. real estate agent — in the US, a Realtor is a licensed agent who is also a member of the National Association of Realtors. Outside the US, "estate agent" (UK) or "real estate agent" are the standard terms.
"Location, location, location" — the most famous phrase in real estate, emphasizing that where a property is matters more than almost anything else. It's attributed to various sources but has been used in English since at least the early 1900s.
Closing costs — fees paid at the finalization of a real estate deal, beyond the purchase price. In British English the equivalent process is called "conveyancing." Both terms come up in cross-border property transactions.
