CRISPR
Definition:

Biopharmaceutical
Definition:

Example:

Ethics (in biotechnology)
Definition:
Ethics in biotechnology refers to moral questions and responsibilities, such as safety, fairness, and respect for human life, when using biological technology.
Example:
Ethics is important when deciding how gene-editing technology should be used.
Synthetic biology
Definition:
Synthetic biology is a field of biotechnology that designs and builds new biological parts or systems, or redesigns existing ones to perform new functions.
Example:
Synthetic biology is used to create bacteria that produce useful chemicals.
Clinical trial
Definition:
A clinical trial is a scientific study involving human volunteers that tests whether a new drug or treatment is safe and effective.
Example:
The new vaccine must pass several clinical trials before it is approved.
