"Funnel" is one of marketing's most used words: the marketing funnel represents the journey from awareness to purchase. "Top of funnel" (TOFU) means reaching new audiences; "bottom of funnel" (BOFU) means converting people ready to buy. These acronyms appear constantly in marketing job descriptions.
Organic vs. paid reach — organic reach is the audience you earn without paying (through SEO, social shares, word of mouth); paid reach is bought through advertising. "Growing organically" has become a broader business expression meaning growth without external investment.
"Stickiness" in marketing means how well a product or piece of content keeps users engaged and coming back. "What makes this app sticky?" is a common question in product and marketing meetings.
